When I was in middle school I tried out for my very first play. I was Cinderella in “Into the Woods, Jr.”. I enjoyed it so much that I tried out for at least two plays a year from then until I graduated high school. Then as a senior, my friend Kristal and I directed the same play. Ross was the narrator in that version. It was a blast again. We had such a great time !
Because I have a bit of a history with this particular musical, I was really excited to go see the version that my mom just directed up in Sandy with the theater group that she started. They did a great job! The kids had a lot of well directed energy, lots of great musical moments, some really funny jokes, and really great chemistry between the characters.
It brought back a lot of memories for me, and I was so glad to share the experience with my mom kids.
The cast LOVED my mom.

My brother, David’s girlfriend, Kaitlin did such a great job with the Choreography.
A wrote a card for mom. She loved it.
In the obligatory spider man outfit. I thought about asking him to change, but…you’ve got to choose your battles, people!
